Owner - Andrew Kahl

Andrew Kahl was born and raised on Martha’s Vineyard and began working for local contractors when he was 14, helping to build some of the Island’s most prestigious homes. Andrew continued to work in carpentry through high school and when he was 16 discovered his love of custom cabinetry, piqued from the amount of detail and precision required. After graduating high school he spent some time on the island building cabinets, caretaking properties and working on numerous construction projects. He then moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and began working for a high-end building company constructing custom homes. He soon became the shop foreman, taking charge of the construction finish and installation of custom vanities, kitchens and built-ins. After 4 years of honing his skills at this position and building his own custom home in his spare time,  He returned to Martha’s Vineyard in 2010 and started his own company, which began with the construction of custom cabinetry. AMK Concepts now specializes in property management, project management, and contracting.
